The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) estimates that roughly 85 workers are killed each year in the US and 34,900 are seriously injured as a result of materials handling equipment (MHE) accidents. In some cases the reasons for these incidents can be put down to inadequate driver training or human error.
